Experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant

Job Description

  • Experienced/Senior accountants possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an efficient manner.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants participate in audit, review and compilation engagements—assuming responsibility for significant parts of engagements, including planning.
  • They possess analytical skills to effectively prepare and analyze financial statements, tax returns and other client projects.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants demonstrate team development by assisting with both formal and on-the-job training.
  • They obtain a good working knowledge of accounting, tax and other applicable software.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants are introduced to selected internal firm responsibilities.

The successful and ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and eligible to sit for the CPA exam—CPA licensure is desirable, but not required
  • A minimum of two years of public accounting experience
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow!

 

Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

  • Supervisors are CPAs who are well versed in general accounting matters and have an in-depth knowledge in a specific area of expertise or industry.
  • Supervisors are developing their business acumen and their ability to advise clients on various matters while further developing their client relationships.
  • They show leadership skills while acting as in-charges on client engagements through delegating work, providing adequate instructions and performing effective review and supervision throughout the engagements.
  • Supervisors are proactive in the firm which may include, but is not limited to, updates to various industry standards—both accounting and tax related, various software projects, team training and other internal firm responsibilities.
  • They show a commitment to business development activities and building relationships in our community.
