Janice is the Principal in charge of the SSB accounting and assurance services team. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), enabling her to provide business valuations, litigation support and forensic accounting services for individuals and businesses, which includes providing an expert opinion in court cases. Janice regularly speaks at conferences and events on identity theft and fraud. She has extensive experience in accounting and business consulting. Janice is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and, with this expertise, she provides value-added services for her closely held business clients, including assistance with financing and tax and succession planning. She services a variety of industries, including manufacturing, insurance, distribution and wholesale and exempt organizations.
Janice is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she serves on the Accounting and Auditing Committee, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Janice also serves on the Finance Council of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and the YSU Penguin Club Board of Trustees and Finance Committee. She is a 2021 YSU Outstanding Business Alumna.
