Job Description and Qualifications

  • Ability to review complicated and complex corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns.
  • Expertise in managing multiple tax compliance and other client engagements and teams of various sizes simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in tax aspects of business transaction issues, including shareholder transactions.
  • Identify, research and articulate tax planning and compliance issues, opportunities and recommendations.
  • Consult with closely held business and individual clients on financial and tax planning matters.
  • Proactive in the firm which may include, but is not limited to, updates to various industry standards—specifically tax related, various software projects, team training and other internal firm responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to business development activities and building relationships in our community.

Tax Accountant—Senior/Supervisor

  • Assist principals and managers in consulting with closely held business and individual clients on financial and tax planning matters.
  • Supervisors are developing their business acumen and their ability to advise clients on various matters while further developing their client relationships.

Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

  • Supervisors are CPAs who are well versed in general accounting matters and have an in-depth knowledge in a specific area of expertise or industry.
  • Supervisors are developing their business acumen and their ability to advise clients on various matters while further developing their client relationships.
  • They show leadership skills while acting as in-charges on client engagements through delegating work, providing adequate instructions and performing effective review and supervision throughout the engagements.
  • Supervisors are proactive in the firm which may include, but is not limited to, updates to various industry standards—both accounting and tax related, various software projects, team training and other internal firm responsibilities.
  • They show a commitment to business development activities and building relationships in our community.

The successful and ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
  • CPA licensure (required)
  • A minimum of four years of public accounting experience (required)

Experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant

Job Description

  • Experienced/Senior accountants possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an efficient manner.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants participate in audit, review and compilation engagements—assuming responsibility for significant parts of engagements, including planning.
  • They possess analytical skills to effectively prepare and analyze financial statements, tax returns and other client projects.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants demonstrate team development by assisting with both formal and on-the-job training.
  • They obtain a good working knowledge of accounting, tax and other applicable software.
  • Experienced/Senior accountants are introduced to selected internal firm responsibilities.

The successful and ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and eligible to sit for the CPA exam—CPA licensure is desirable, but not required
  • A minimum of two years of public accounting experience
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow!
